Advance Your Craft Without Putting Your Career on Hold: Georgia State’s Low-Residency MM in Conducting
Georgia State’s Master of Music in Conducting (Low-Residency) is designed for working educators ready to grow artistically and professionally—without stepping away from their ensembles. With fully online coursework during the academic year and an immersive, in-person summer session, students gain hands-on experience, mentorship from nationally recognized faculty, and access to the acclaimed Atlanta Summer Conducting Institute.

The School of Music is pleased to welcome Dr. Serena Scibelli as Assistant Professor of Violin starting in fall 2025. An internationally acclaimed violinist and educator, Dr. Scibelli brings extensive performance experience and a passion for music education. She will lead the violin studio, focusing on mentorship and preparing students for successful careers in the global music industry.
