The Sonaré Chamber Winds is the newest ensemble in the Georgia State Bands program. A subset of the Symphonic Wind Ensemble comprised of 2 flutes, 2 oboes, 2 clarinets, 2 bassoons, 2 horns, and double bass, the Sonaré Chamber Winds is a training ensemble of the Atlanta Chamber Winds, a professional wind dectet in residence comprised of Georgia State faculty, Atlanta Symphony, Ballet and Opera Orchestra personnel and freelance musicians.  The Sonaré Chamber Winds will perform with the Atlanta Chamber Winds each season and will perform one or two pieces a year on Symphonic Wind Ensemble concerts.
