School of Music Student Will Tate Selected as Finalist in International Recording Competition

Undergraduate School of Music student Will Tate has been named a finalist in the Audio Engineering Society (AES) Student Recording Competition for his track Show Up. Competing in the Traditional Studio Recording category, Tate’s work will be presented at the AES Show in New York, where he’ll receive feedback from top industry professionals. In addition to his AES recognition, Tate was also a finalist for the 10th Student Recognition Award by the Cinema Audio Society (CAS) and attended the 60th CAS Awards Ceremony in Los Angeles this past March.
