Vocal project Roomful of Teeth is a multi-tonal feast for the ears! These versatile, Grammy-winning performers have studied and trained with masters from singing traditions the world-over. Dedicated to mining the expressive potential of the human voice, while continually expanding their vocabulary of singing techniques, Roomful of Teeth forges new repertoire without borders. Composer and founding member Caroline Shaw is the youngest ever winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Music, for her a cappella masterpiece Partita for 8 Voices. The eight-voice ensemble’s four-octave pitch range explores a bold sonic palette of speech, sighs, whispers, murmurs, wordless melodies, spoken prattle, throat singing, and more—promising a never-a-dull-moment performance at the Rialto!
